Road Trip Time!!

In case you missed the memo, this weekend is VT SHEEP & WOOL!!! This means I have decided to close the shop on Saturday, October 4th and road trip down. It also will be the day I debut my Florence sweater, YAY!! Who else will be ready to wear theirs? Sandy and Karen were on sleeve island last I knew, anyone else? I did see lots of amazing progress at KAL on Saturday, the colors are just stunning! I guess I'll just have to wait and see... We have our caravan, there's still some room if you'd like to join in the fun. We will meet at the shop at 8:00 and proceed to Tunbridge. I hit an interesting crossroad the other day, it doesn't happen often. I couldn't decide what to cast on next, it was the worst feeling! Usually my decisions are made, this time, I actually could squeeze in a project that was 100% for me. It sounds a bit dramatic, but the majority of the time, my project is a shop sample or the latest KAL. I managed to crank out, not only the Florence, but three new shop samples, the Novus Knit Pouch, the Mineralogy Hat and the Rib Lace Raglan. I think that kind of dedication to my business deserves a reward, and a reward I shall have. I finally cast on the Foxthoughts Pullover, I bought the kit 4 years ago on my birthday. I wound the yarn a few months ago, and decided that yesterday was the day, I am so excited! It will only be a matter of days before I'm pulled in another direction. I signed up to test knit Elizabeth Smith's latest design, Triple Time, I'm waiting for my yarn to arrive. Of course, I do have the Shifty 2.0 on the needles, but I'm stuck until I can find a new color "D" I hate what I picked out. I'll be on the hunt for the perfect skein on Saturday...I honestly can't believe I've stuck with this pattern, I have changed 2 of the 3 contrast colors since casting it on, the struggle is real.

I think I'm going to take my sign from the universe and sign off lol...it is almost 10:00 and I've been fiddling around with my thoughts since 7:30 and this is all I've got. We will be meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday, from 6-7:30 for Stitch and Bitch, I hope you can join in the fun. I hope that Makayla has had Maeve by now, we are standing by....
